Cacaouyo’s Quinoa Crunch presents a new challenge for the Peruvian chocolatier.
Both Piura Select and Lakuna have great smoothness, but this chocolate combines two of Peru’s natural foods, cacao and quinoa, to create a rich milk chocolate with a unique crunch.
The idea of quinoa chocolate may seem strange at first, but this bar is definitely better than the sum of its parts. Rich milk chocolate has an unrefined fudgy texture, while sharp pieces of roasted quinoa give it a malty crunch.
