Finely chop the garlic and onion and gently fry until soft.
Add the chopped tomatoes to the garlic and half the basil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Bring a pot of water to a boil on the stove. Add the spaghetti and a pinch of salt to the water and boil for 9 minutes.
In a separate pan fry the meatballs until golden all over then add to the tomato sauce. Drain the pasta and cover with the meatballs and sauce.
Top cheese and basil. Enjoy!
